The Internet has certainly shrunk the world in which we live. E-Commerce, Social Media, user created website without having to know the code need to build portals of information that entertains, educate and informs have most certainly closed the miles that separate all of us. One of my favorite things is the ability to shop for organic foods online.

Although I live in an area that has plenty of opportunity to by organic nuts, fruits, and vegetables; I still am excited by the options of prepared or exotic foods that can be ordered online. In the last year I have begun to really get serious about the food I buy for my family. Pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers are not really something I want to eat or let my family eat. Sure you can be thorough and wash all of your produce, even with prepared all natural rinses and washes, but that will not get out what has been absorbed by the plants and animals we eat.
