For example instead of making a burger or steak for each family member use a smaller portion of meat to make a casserole or even a stir fry. That way you do get the meat but you aren’t consuming as much of it.

Don’t do this though if you won’t eat them right away though because if the y do spoil then you have just lost money on organic foods instead of saving it. This is a great way to reduce the cost on those items you will buy all the time from a retailer.
